As for the subdomain question, I think it depends on your webhosting. I hosted the GoDaddy domain at my own host (the one I'm selling at US$2 per year) and created the subdomains (xxx.yourname.com). I can create as many subdomains as I want... So it's not about where you buy the domain name from. By the way, how did you manage to get US$6+ for .com domain from GoDaddy? Mind to share?
