If you choose to upload all your photos to your server, then obviously it will consume a lot of bandwidth. But there is always free photo hosting like Flickr, Imageshack, Webshot, etc if you want to save some money. I agree with you, Jee. I do recommend people to start with something around 5GB, who knows a sudden burst of traffic might happen and the last thing a webmaster wants is to have their website suspended for BW limit.
