When I was on a stop-over flight in Dubai airport, I had the opportunity to visit the duty-free shops there. I was thinking of getting a bottle of perfume but surprisingly, the prices of perfume there are higher than some UK high street prices! How disappointing…

Since then, I vowed not to buy perfume from airports again. I normally just get them from high street shops. I am aware that there are cheaper alternatives online, such as Fragrance Online UK. From a quick look at their ranges of perfume, it seems that they are quite competitively priced compared to high street shops. They do stock up quite a lot of brands as well, such as Calvin Klein perfume and Anna Sui perfume.

I have never bought from them but I will definitely consider using them in the future. If you have used them before, do let me know your experience shopping with them.

I was asked to review this website so here it goes. At the first glance, I didn’t really know what software is the website trying to promote. They mentioned about .gadget file extension (which is why the website is called File Extension Gadget) but if you read carefully, they are trying to promote this software called Driver Detective. Apparently, this software does a scan for your computer and tells you which driver needs updating.

Honestly, I didn’t like the explanation on this website and I don’t understand why it is called File Extension Gadget. Why not just called it Driver Detective? And what is with all the .gadget explanation? My guess is that this website is probably trying to gain traffic from people searching for “File Extension Gadget” in search engines, presumably looking for more gadgets for their Windows desktop.

I have not used this software (I have no need for it) and I have no idea whether it has viruses or not. So download at your own risk and make sure you have scan it carefully with your anti-virus before installing.

Has anyone bought flowers from an online florist here in Malaysia? Need some recommendations on which online flower shop to go for… After a quick google search, I realised that there are quite a number of them in Malaysia and I have no idea which one to go for.

My requirements:
- accept credit card payment
- deliver within the Klang Valley region
- and of course, the flowers must be fresh + good + reasonably priced.

Any recommendation? Thanks in advance!

With so many online shops these days, it is quite a daunting task to hunt for the best price online. Imagine having to visit 10-15 websites, compare prices between different online stores and not to mention, having to read reviews to make sure your choice of product is right. This does make online shopping more complicated than going to shops in person, doesn’t it?

This problem can be easily solved by price comparison sites like Wize.com. This site makes it easier for US online shoppers to get the best deal for a particular product they want to buy online and at the same time, get an idea of how good the product is based on the reviews. Take for example, if you are looking to buy a toaster oven. How do you make a choice from the many toaster ovens available out there? The toaster ovens page on Wize will be a good helping hand.

Now, if only they can expand this to other countries as well…
